Michael Willis, President

Mike is a Construction Management professional with over 24 years’ experience in the industry; 17 of them being with CORE. Mike Willis possesses expertise in a variety of roles within the construction industry. With CORE he has served the company as a field manager, general field manager, senior project manager, Director of Construction and is currently serving as President. These experiences have allowed him to possess high expertise in pre-construction and construction phases of project management including estimating, design coordination, budgeting, contract execution, scheduling, and change order coordination along with his vast knowledge of construction means and methods obtained while functioning as a field manager for over 10 years in the industry.

Thomas Arnold, Vice President of Pre-Construction

Thomas is a licensed Architect with a history of over 30 years experience within the architectural and construction business, most often as the principal of a “design-build” operation specializing in a wide range of residential based projects.  He works  directly with owners and organizations in developing and executing strategies to produce creative designs sensitive to real world budgets.  Tom has a working knowledge of the process from start to finish and the relationships within the industry necessary to support the efforts that has led to the production of hundreds of successful projects.


Kevin Kappes, Controller

Kevin graduated and earned his Accounting Degree from Northern Kentucky University in 1994. He now serves as the Controller for CORE Resources, overseeing all Financial and Human Resource aspects of the company. Kevin has 20 years of experience in the industry, 19 of which are with CORE. Kevin possesses expertise in a variety of roles within construction/ job cost, property management, real estate and development accounting. Since starting in 1995, he has served as the Property Management Accountant, Construction Accountant and for the past 16 years, Controller.

Paul Bolster, Senior Estimator

Paul is a licensed Architect and has a 40 year history in Construction Project Management.  Paul brings this experience to lead the budgeting and estimating process armed with firsthand knowledge of the Cincinnati market.  Throughout Paul’s career, he has estimated, administered and  executed hundreds of projects bringing together owners, consultants, building officials and subcontractors to deliver successful products through a wide range of public and private projects .


Jason McCoy, Senior field manager

Jason is responsible for overseeing all field procedures and operations. He holds over 18 years of management experience in construction. Jason possesses a high level of detail in his management style and project execution. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, Jason joined CORE as a Field Laborer. After several promotions, he has fully grasped the process of what it takes to run and complete a project to the highest standards. His daily responsibilities include subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, budget adherence, safety coordinator and quality control. Jason also handles all of the field hiring and training, ensuring that all CORE standards are met on the construction projects.
