Paul and Dave Kitzmiller saw the potential for this retail center across from Northgate Mall and purchased it. At the time, this center was occupied by Service Merchandise, Michael’s, and Shoe Carnival with a Bill Knapp’s restaurant occupying a corner of the site. Service Merchandise was replaced with the first of many Gold’s Gyms CORE Resources has built for this client.
After acquiring the site, the restaurant closed and construction was started on the Gold’s Gym build out. The Kitzmillers saw another opportunity to construct a speculative 6,200 square foot retail center in the place of the closed Bill Knapp’s. The development team went to work. The design team was hired, zoning was changed to allow the new building, construction drawings were completed, leasing started and construction was completed.
The center was filled shortly after the completion of construction with US Bank, T-Mobile and Chipotle. Additionally, CORE completed the tenant finish for Chipotle. The construction schedule for the shell building was ten weeks and Chipotle was completed eight weeks later.
